Our home is a busy place! Our Cotons are a big part of the family and are accustomed to lots of activity and love. Our dogs are well behaved and respect boundaries, while they are some of the most affectionate dogs that we know.
Breeding wasn't on the radar when we met our first Coton, Zeke. We
decided to breed our second Coton Luna Bean in 2015 after a long
discussion with Luna's breeder at Colorado Cotons. Our love for Coton de
Tulear and our desire to share the breed with others close to us,
brought us to this point.
A large part of the decision to breed was based on our family life, and how suitable we would be as thoughtful stewards of this remarkable dog breed. Kelly has a background in nursing, mother of 7 children, and is our primary home school instructor. Relying on her character traits and the opportunity to engage our family in this project, Kelly is the head Coton handler and pregnancy coordinator.... with abundant help as needed from the rest of the family, and Zeke- when it comes time to teach manners to the little ones.
*Update: Our family of 9 is getting smaller as the children find their way into adulthood, and our dogs get even more attention in our home :-)
We are proud to be part of the American Coton Club, and recognized as an ethical breeder.
Our dogs are part of our family, and live in our home.
